Welcome to Thin By 35

Welcome to my newest endeavor, ThinBy35.com.  Prior to having children I was always thin and while I wasn’t a fanatic about working out, I watched what I ate.  After I had my son in 2001, I quickly lost the weight.  As he got older, however, I started to put on a few pounds here and there.  When my husband and I decided that we wanted to add another child to the mix, we had no clue how difficult it would be.  In the end, I ended up taking a fertility medicine called Clomid which quickly packed on about 15 lbs.  I was able to keep my weight gain with my second pregnancy to 19 lbs but unfortunately, it didn’t come off as quickly as I’d like.

Now my “baby” is 4.5 and I still have baby weight.  My number one problem is motivation.  I know how to eat right, I know how to exercise right, I just don’t always have the motivation to make the right choices.  Now, with my 35th birthday looming, I realized that it is now or never.  Well that’s not really the case but losing weight after 35 isn’t easy according to many experts in the field.  So between now and October I will be blogging my personal weight loss journey as well as post information about health and wellness that may be of interest to the viewers.

I don’t plan on doing anything drastic, I am making lifestyle changes.  I want this to stick so I won’t have to turn around and do this again in five years with a ThinBy40.com site.  If you’re on a similar journey, I’d love to hear your stories!
